User research and insight

I design and lead mixed-methods research across discovery, alpha, beta and live. Drawing on expertise in qualitative and quantitative research, ethnography and behavioural research, I help teams understand people’s experiences, explore complex problems and make informed service design decisions.

UCD leadership and capability

I work with organisations to develop and strengthen user-centred design practice. From leading researchers and designers and coaching individuals to establishing communities of practice, research standards and governance, I help organisations improve the quality of their research and make better use of it in design and delivery.

Research strategy and evaluation

I bring extensive experience in Government Social Research, policy research and evaluation. I help organisations identify the questions that matter, develop robust research approaches and bring together different sources of evidence to inform strategic and operational decisions.
